Fleas Extermination

Fleas are small wingless insects, usually red or brown in color. They are skilled at jumping and tend to carry diseases and germs to animals like dogs. They can usually be found in moist and warm areas.

Although you normally never feel them, fleas can bite if they land on you. They have a piercing section of their mouth that they latch on to people and animals. These bites can become swollen or itchy.

Fleas must have a blood meal in order to survive. Although they can live up to a year without one, they cannot lay eggs until they do. Once female fleas have a blood meal, they begin laying as many as 20 eggs per day. Once their eggs hatch, the larvas hibernate throughout the winter until they grown into pupa and eventually adults.
